In the Spring of 2007, Jay Gamble returned to his hometown of Columbia, Maryland with his pregnant wife Melanie, oldest son JT and Jeremiah all in tow to launch a relevant, reaching, real ministry called Life Change Church. The last time Jay was here in Columbia, he was graduating from a local high school (Oakland Mills) and making plans to leave for college. Now with the help of the Holy Spirit, Jay is leading a church that welcomed 140 people for the first service on August 26, 2007.

Fast forward two years and Life Change continues to thrive! This past August, 2009 Life Change celebrated two wonderful years of serving the Howard County community!  Life Change continues to welcome new comers each Sunday, God keeps on sending GREAT people! The vision of Life Change is to receive all people into a Christ centered, loving church where there is hope for everyone. Our church is RELEVANT because it connects to all types of people. Our church is REACHING because we are focused on going anywhere to REACH anyone with the love of Jesus. Finally our church is REAL because we present real, practical issues from a Biblical perspective.
